All current learners must achieve a pass in all programme units and obtain a C or above in all external exams/project based units to progress to the next level of study
Mandatory:
Successful interview
Clear Occupational Health Check
Clear Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check required
The candidate must submit an application to join the PVG scheme. It is the responsibility of the applicant to cover the cost of this Plus one of the following:
2 Higher Grades at Grade C or above (including English or Communication 4/Literature 1) and 3 Standard Grades at Level 3 or above (including Maths or Intermediate 2 Maths)
Successful completion of a relevant access course, such as SWAP Access to Nursing (SCQF Level 6)
Successful completion of NC Health and Social Care (SCQF Level 6) all routes
Higher English at Grade C or above plus successful completion of all units within Career Skills Programme (SCQF Level 5-7) with Higher Psychology at Grade C or above
Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant paid workplace experience or alternative qualifications will be considered
