HND Building Surveying
This course provides students with a sound understanding of scientific and construction principles and their relevance to the field of Building Surveying. The award achieved is recognised by professionals in the industry, therefore enabling students to take up employment at higher technician level
The Course comprises 30 credits assessed on a continuous basis over a 2-year period. The first year consists of 15 credits, which embraces the HNC Construction course. The credits are also common to all other HND Built Environment Courses,
therefore bringing all entrants at whatever entry level and choice of specialist HND to a common standard.

NC Building Technology
This course introduces a range of SQA Units relating to Building Technology which provide the basic knowledge and skills required for future employment in the Construction Industry at technician level. On successful completion students have the opportunity to progress to an advanced level course in Architecture, Building Surveying, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

NQ Introduction to Construction Craft Skills
This course is based on SQA National Qualification Units and aims to give a thorough foundation in practical construction skills for a range of construction crafts. It provides experience of working with others in a practical construction environment and gives opportunities for employment at basic skills level in the Construction Industry.
This programme will encourage a positive attitude and also develop valuable workplace skills. To achieve this, students will learn about the skills and attitudes that employers are looking form, how to work effectively with others and what to expect when out in the workplace.
