HNC Early Education and Childcare
This course aims to develop a range of skills for working in an early years setting. It will provide the student with a wide knowledge of the factors which influence childrens' care and their learning and development.
The course will also provide opportunities to relate theory to practice in appropriate settings. Successful completion of this course provides the necessary qualifications for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.

NC Child, Health and Social Care - Early Years Route
This course provides an introduction to Early Education and Childcare values and principles. It will give a general introduction to Child Development and enhance communication, numeracy and problem solving skills. On completion of this course, learners will be aware of issues relating to young children and their families in society today.

NC Early Education and Childcare
This course will develop awareness and understanding of all aspects of children\'s growth and development from birth to 12 years. It provides the practical skills needed to recognise and meet the needs of the developing child. It will also enhance communication and interpersonal skills and there is a 2 day placement at an approved establishment selected by the College.
