HNC Early Education and Childcare This course aims to develop a range of skills for working in an early years setting. It will provide the learner with a wide knowledge of the factors which influence childrens’ care and their learning and development.

NC Early Education and Childcare This course will develop awareness and understanding of all aspects of children’s growth and development from birth to 12 years. It provides the practical skills needed to recognise and meet the needs of the developing child. It will also enhance communication and interpersonal skills and there is a 2 day placement per week at an approved establishment selected by the College. NPA Playwork and Childcare This programme will explore and develop your knowledge and understanding of play work principles and theories that underpin working with children. It will develop your understanding of their roles and responsibilities in relation to working with children and young people to provide play in a variety of settings. The programme has a strong practical element in play work and play in a sport environment which will develop your leadership skills. The programme includes group awards in Playwork and Childcare, Play in a Sport Environment and Leadership.
