Current activity:
Works are progressing well onsite, with the building now substantially watertight. Miller have now commenced final decoration works at high level in order to allow them to reduce the volume of heavy access equipment within the Creative Industries and Workshop blocks. Joinery work and ceiling installations are also continuing within the Teaching Block and Link Block, both working towards final decoration works as soon as possible.
The external works are now progressing well also. Much of this however is in anticipation of the bad weather which could potentially strike at some point in the near future! The external service yard is now paved, the south car park substantially complete, with our office relocation now complete to allow the remaining two car parks to be completed. The new footpath for the public right of watyd is also now continuing at pace.
