Plans for these new campuses have been developed since the College was created in 2005, but with the announcement of Scottish Funding Council support for our proposals, we have set about drawing up the detail of our proposals.
With £50 million to invest in these two campuses, much of the work has focused on securing good sites for the new campuses and working with our departments and local partners to shape our buildings for the future.
As part of our funding package from the Scottish Funding Council we were also given a small amount of funding to work up a master plan for the Falkirk site, showing how we would like to see Falkirk campus develop over the long term.
Falkirk will continue to be our Headquarters Campus and we have high hopes that we will be able to realise some of the ambitions of the master plan in the very near future.
